Another 0 Day At The Hawkwatch-March 9, 2014

Leader:
Pam assisted by Hal and Rose

Migration:
0

Discussion:
Very windy at 12-15mph from the south/southeast. A disappointing day with no migration.

Evening Watch:
Finally a few hawks are in. We had a total of 13 Swainson's Hawks lazily putting down in the Date Farm. As the wind changes we should see more hawks the next few days.

Prediction:
The wind will return to more normal conditions-WNW. Light wind is predicted tomorrow morning. A small kettle will develop probably around 9-9:30A. Check in at the day site on DiGiorgio for information about the best viewing spot.
